{"id":11787,"date":"2022-03-02T16:36:59","date_gmt":"2022-03-02T16:36:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.colwyn-tc.gov.uk\/?p=11787"},"modified":"2022-03-03T12:47:42","modified_gmt":"2022-03-03T12:47:42","slug":"platinum-jubilee-grants-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colwyn-tc.gov.uk\/cy\/platinum-jubilee-grants-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Queen&#8217;s Platinum Jubilee Grants available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bay of Colwyn Town Council has set aside funding this year to support activities in the Bay of Colwyn area (Rhos on Sea, Colwyn Bay, Upper Colwyn Bay and Old Colwyn) in celebration of the Queen&#8217;s Platinum Jubilee.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are now being invited from local groups\/organisations seeking funding support of up to \u00a3500 (capital or revenue) for community projects, activities or events.\u00a0 A simple three-page application form is available on request from the Town Hall, Rhiw Road, Colwyn Bay (tel: 01492 532248 \/ e-mail: <a href=\"mailto:info@colwyn-tc.gov.uk\">info@colwyn-tc.gov.uk<\/a>).\u00a0 The closing date for applications is noon on <strong>Monday 16th May 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Projects supported for the Queen\u2019s 90th Birthday in 2016 included: \u00a0army cadets and scouts trips, youth football, drama, film and arts projects, sports equipment, youth club activities and a Queen\u2019s 90th Birthday party.<\/p>\n<p>Contact Details:\u00a0 For further information please contact the Town Clerk, Mrs Tina Earley, on 01492 532248.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colwyn-tc.gov.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/1.-Cais-am-Gymorth-Grant.pdf\">1.
