{"id":16993,"date":"2024-05-21T13:54:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-21T13:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.colwyn-tc.gov.uk\/?p=16993"},"modified":"2024-05-21T13:54:00","modified_gmt":"2024-05-21T13:54:00","slug":"volunteer-awards-2023-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colwyn-tc.gov.uk\/cy\/volunteer-awards-2023-24\/","title":{"rendered":"Volunteer Awards 2023\/24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Bay of Colwyn Town Council is delighted to announce the winners of the Bay of Colwyn Volunteer of the Year Awards for 2024. \u00a0The nominations were considered by the Volunteer Awards Committee, which includes representatives from the local community and from Community and Voluntary Support Conwy (CVSC). \u00a0Award recipients were invited to the Town Hall on Monday 29<sup>th<\/sup> April, with the winners of each category being presented with a slate plaque and certificate by the Town Mayor, Cllr Hannah Fleet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Winners of the Bay of Colwyn Volunteer Awards 2024 are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adult (25-64 yrs): \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Hannah Stant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adult (65+): \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Jenny Holland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Young Person: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Sophie Johnson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Green Group:\u00a0 <strong>Friends of Llanelian Cemetery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Town Council created a new award in 2019, in memory of a former Town Councillor and Mayor and the first Chairman of the Volunteer Awards Committee, John Davies.
