The Town Council has suspended its normal meeting schedule for the immediate future and has delegated powers to key members\/staff to continue its functions. Local Volunteers<\/strong> (d) Conwy County Borough Council have established a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the Authority so that the most vulnerable individuals within our communities are able to call a single number with any concerns re shopping, picking up medical supplies etc. As and when more information is available about the type of additional support needed, we will update this section.<\/p>\n 5. \nWe are in the process of compiling a list of local shops\/pharmacies etc that can accept orders and payment remotely and arrange delivery. These will be added to this site over the coming days so please come back here to check regularly.
\nThe Local Authority is the point of contact for anyone requiring additional support, due to self-isolation. Contact details will be posted here once they are available.<\/p>\n
\nShould you wish to volunteer to help out in your local community, there are several ways you can get involved:
\na) By delivering a postcard to the properties in your street offering support to those who may be self-isolating. If you are not able to print these yourself, please contact the Town Hall on 01492 532248 and we will assist, where possible.
\nb) We will share details in the coming days of the local shops offering home delivery services and let you know if any are looking for volunteers.
\nc) By contacting one of the voluntary support groups active in your local area. Further information and contact details will be posted here in due course.
