Mayor Hannah Fleet joined NWAMI and the North Wales Jamaica Society in hosting a celebration of Windrush Generations. The many achievements and stories of the people from all over the world invited to help Britain rebuild in the 1950s were shared. Speakers included Liz Millman and Prof Robert Moore of NWJS, Garrick Prayogg of Justice for Windrush and Cameroonian artist Jean Samuel Mfike. An extremely interesting afternoon organised by Dr Sibani Roy at the Town Hall.
